# KOTS fashion briefing

Snapshot: 23 July 2026

## The lead

KOTS begins with the clothes already hanging at home. It helps a member turn that
wardrobe into practical outfits, then shows where a new piece would earn its place.

Wardrobe capture is designed to feel closer to talking to a stylist than completing
an inventory. The member photographs pieces, speaks naturally and reviews each
proposed garment. Confirmed pieces receive polished product imagery, turning the
finished wardrobe into a private shop.

## The visual story

You model it creates a private full-length outfit preview. The member can keep the
photograph restrained, add more movement or give it the fashion-editorial attitude
the KOTS team calls “Blue Steel.”

## Current evidence

- More than 7,300 styled looks in the KOTS library
- Styling shaped by wardrobe, occasion, weather and current conditions
- Wardrobe-first commerce, with shopping introduced through a useful gap
- Private outfit previews with serious, joyful and varied pose directions

## Questions worth asking

- Can a fashion platform sell less often and still build a sound business?
- Does premium imagery make people value and rewear the clothes they own?
- What changes when the customer becomes the model?

## Reporting access

KOTS can provide a review account, a guided wardrobe-capture session, a You model it
demonstration and an interview with founder Rami Al-Bakri.
