Your first outfit with KOTS

Start with one real plan and a few clothes you already own. This guide is included with the page; it does not require a purchase to read.

  1. Pick the occasion. Describe where you are going, what you will be doing and anything practical the outfit must handle.
  2. Choose a starting piece. A favourite jacket, a dress you want to wear more or the shoes you know will be comfortable.
  3. Add the relevant clothes to KOTS. Include the supporting pieces: a top, trousers or skirt where needed, shoes and a layer. Review images and details. You do not need to add the whole wardrobe to start this exercise.
  4. Give your virtual stylist a clear brief. Try: “Help me put together an outfit for [plan], using [piece]. I need [practical requirement]. I like [preference], and I would rather avoid [preference].”
  5. Refine the idea. Say what you like and ask for one useful change. You decide what feels right.
  6. Save a combination you want to try. After wearing it, make a note of what worked and what you want to change next time.

Setup and generation take time. This guide does not promise a fixed completion time or a particular result. Membership purchase, access and creation limits follow the current KOTS terms. This small-start exercise does not alter any separate guarantee conditions.

Continue to the full styling experience

One outfit is the first step. Next, document the rest of the clothes you currently wear or want styled, including shoes and relevant layers. Check each saved item so your stylist has an accurate picture of what you own. Work through a category at a time if that is easier.

With that wardrobe in place, explore a week of outfits and ask for a wardrobe gap review: what combinations can you already make, and which additions would serve a real purpose? You do not need to buy anything to try the service or satisfy the proposed guarantee conditions.

The conditional guarantee requires meaningful wardrobe documentation and a week of wearing the outfits. This first-outfit exercise alone does not satisfy it. See the guarantee terms presented with your purchase for the exact conditions and claim deadline.
