KOTS Student Ambassador · paid UK pilot

Learn to open doors in fashion. Get paid from the first hour.

A paid job introducing a personal styling app to the people who work in fashion — in person, near your university, a couple of hours a week.

The offer, up front

£12.71 an hour

10 guaranteed paid hours. Required onboarding, outreach, follow-up, reporting and authorised travel are paid even when no one signs up.

Fixed bonuses sit on top of wages. Base pay never depends on a registration, referral or sale.

KOTS is a personal styling app. It turns a wardrobe you love into the right outfit for today — then helps you make every new purchase count. You would be introducing it to people who work in fashion and retail.

Know what you will show

See the product before you apply.

This is the film you can show in a retail conversation. It uses the approved product claims and gives the person a clear picture before you discuss the Industry Ambassador offer.

The field-ready KOTS product film. English captions are available in the player.

Where it goes

Four weeks is the start, not the length.

Most campus schemes end when the term does. This one is built to continue — you are one of five in the first cohort, early enough that leading a team in twelve weeks is a real thing that happens, because there is no team yet.

  1. Weeks 1–4

    Paid trial

Ten guaranteed hours. Paid whether anyone signs up or not.

  2. Weeks 5–12

    Extended

Meet the first-stage targets and the assignment runs eight more weeks — up to six hours a week, and a hand in the campus strategy rather than just the calls.

  3. Week 13+

    Leading a team

Meet the extension targets and you take on a small team of student ambassadors, at a lead rate.

Targets decide extension and bonuses. They never touch your wages. They are agreed in writing before you start, and missing one never reduces pay for work you have already done.

What you would be paid

£127.10

Guaranteed across the four-week trial — 10 hours at £12.71 an hour.

This is the floor, not a forecast. Onboarding, outreach, follow-up, reporting and authorised travel are paid even when nobody signs up.

Fixed performance bonuses are paid through payroll on top of these wages, and are stated in the assignment issued before you start work.

The real job

Retail people trust a good conversation more than another cold message.

Your main job is to meet people who work in fashion and retail, usually in person. You introduce KOTS, show the product, give them the exact Retail Insider page and let them decide.

You can also introduce strong student friends to the paid hiring funnel. You never upload somebody else's details, pressure a colleague or earn a percentage of another person's work.

Prepare the hard questions

What you leave with

Evidence, not empty experience.

  • ●A live dashboard showing introductions, onboarding progress and attributable outcomes.
  • ●A field-tested pitch, objection practice and weekly next-best actions based on the stage of your funnel.
  • ●A documented four-week performance record you can discuss in future sales, marketing and fashion interviews.
  • ●Direct founder attention for people whose judgement and results make that attention worth giving.

First application

Five useful minutes. No public audition.

We ask about availability, access and how you would approach the work. We do not ask for follower counts, a headshot or a public promotional post. If you pass the first screen, you can answer the private communication exercise by video, voice or a short live call after receiving the full preparation pack.

Applications are read by people. Automated tools may summarise missing evidence, but they do not watch, score or reject candidates.

The private communication step
If you pass this first screen, we will send the pitch, exact offer, detailed walkthrough, FAQs and objection handlers. You then respond to one fair retail scenario in 60–90 seconds. Nothing is published or reused as marketing, and a person reviews it.
