The story in 90 seconds

She printed him a style manual. He built her an app.

Melissa spent years watching her husband reach for the same jeans. She made Rami a ring-bound manual of outfits, took him shopping and worked through the combinations with him. The book worked. Then laundry, weather, work and two children moved faster than paper could.

Rami built what the manual wanted to become: a stylist that remembers the wardrobe, reads the week and keeps an eye on the pieces still missing. Taste was there. Daily life kept winning.

“KOTS is Melissa's book, finally finished.”

Founder-funded

£50,000

Rami's own money committed to the first KOTS product by the two-year mark.

Investment figure supplied by the company.

The founder's second beginning

Two years in, Rami rebuilt KOTS.

The first KOTS product was built on Bubble. By the two-year mark, Rami had invested £50,000 of his own money and a large part of his life in the low-code version. It proved the idea. The experience still asked too much of the person using it. Friction had moved from the wardrobe into the app.

Rami chose the product over the sunk cost. KOTS left the low-code platform and was rebuilt on a modern web stack with native iOS and Android apps. The team documented the behaviour worth preserving, then redesigned the wardrobe, stylist and shopping journeys around the experience they had wanted from the beginning.

“I realised we had to leave the low-code platform we'd invested so much time in and go fully native again.”

Why KOTS is worth covering

Fashion technology aimed at the five minutes before leaving home.

The useful part of personal styling happens inside real constraints. KOTS gives those constraints a memory and gives the member one clear decision.

A wardrobe without the data-entry project

Members photograph pieces and talk as they move. KOTS connects the right spoken detail to the right image, asks for approval, then gives each piece a premium shop-style photograph.

The week enters the fitting room

Weather, occasion and calendar context shape the outfit before the member asks. The result is useful on an ordinary Tuesday, where most fashion products lose the plot.

A bargain carries evidence

KOTS watches pieces already connected to a wardrobe plan. A price alert must clear history, stock, relevance and fatigue checks before the member sees it.

Shopping comes after styling

Retail products appear as the missing part of a credible outfit or wardrobe plan. Members see why a piece earns its place before they see a checkout.

Patent application prepared

Talk your way through the wardrobe. KOTS builds the boutique.

Wardrobe digitisation usually asks someone to become a cataloguer. KOTS lets them remain a person standing among their clothes. Photograph a piece, keep talking, double back, remember the fabric later. The system reads the whole session before it decides what belongs where.

The member reviews every proposed item. Original photographs and voice notes remain private, and interrupted sessions are built to resume.

  1. A woman looking through a wardrobe while preparing pieces
    Photograph naturally

    01 · Show and tell

Images carry the view. Voice carries the memory.

Brand, fit, fabric, history and the reason a piece matters can be spoken while the camera keeps moving.

  2. “The navy polo is Ralph Lauren…”

“…and the first one is merino.”

    Reconciled with the earlier piece

    02 · Reconcile the story

Human speech is allowed to be human.

KOTS can connect a later correction or detail to an earlier garment, flag uncertainty and put the proposed record in front of the member.

  3. Tailored jacket
    Black dress
    Leather tote

    03 · Open your shop

Every approved piece gets the retail treatment.

KOTS generates a faithful premium product shot, so the finished wardrobe feels like a private high-end store built from clothes already owned.

Personal style, with a pulse

You can inspect the outfit. You can also enjoy the photograph.

You model it places the member inside the complete look while keeping every garment and both shoes in view. They decide how straight or playful the photograph should feel. Keep it serious. Add a little joy. Or, in the language of the KOTS team, give it Blue Steel.

Straight on

A calm, consistent full-body stance when the clothes need close inspection.

More personality

Natural movement, editorial settings and a photograph with more life in it.

Surprise me

KOTS changes the pose and scene each day, then keeps that day's result consistent.

Pose controls sit alongside clean studio, art-directed editorial and real-life scene choices. The preview remains private to the member.

Inside the bargain hunter

A discount has to earn the interruption.

KOTS follows the wardrobe plan, then tests the price. The system is built to reject noisy retail theatre before it reaches a member.

  1. Evidence 1

    Build a price history

The offer needs observations on at least three separate days spanning seven days or more. A crossed-out retailer price cannot carry the claim alone.

  2. Evidence 2

    Demand a meaningful saving

The current price must sit at least 10% and £10 below the defensible reference price. The lower of observed history and the advertised reference wins.

  3. Evidence 3

    Check the member fit

Stock must be recent. Size, style affinity, favourite brands and explicit shopping-list or collection intent all affect whether the offer qualifies.

  4. Evidence 4

    Respect the person

Quiet hours, channel consent and weekly caps still apply. A real saving can wait until morning.

A wardrobe platform built to make the clothes at home feel worth wearing again.

KOTS begins with the wardrobe a person owns. Natural voice capture removes the cataloguing chore, premium imagery turns the result into a private shop, and daily styling puts those clothes back into circulation.
